Who's behind The Star Company?
With experience in nearly every domain of electronic media – television & radio, cable & broadcast, public & private, management & post-production – Ben Stark is the energetic force behind The Star Company.
For the past 25 years, Ben has worked in television on both sides of the camera. He has been a sports commentator, news reporter, program host and generated thousands of programs for local radio and television. In his many roles as Manager and Supervisor, he has mentored dozens of young professionals, administered balanced budgets, produced television production truck coverage and earned more than 100 awards for programming excellence with various staff members over two decades.
The TV Guy spent more than a decade building the foundation of the most successful cable television station in the Lansing region, and has also taught at Michigan State University and Lansing Community College. Most recently Ben worked with high school and college students while managing a local school cable channel.
If it involves television, Ben has probably done it. He works with a wide range of creative colleagues with diverse skill-sets and professional experiences, and he will work closely with you to meet your personal and professional goals in a fresh and creative way.
